I recently needed to have a new will drawn up. The Layton Law Firm was recommended for their professionalism and focus on a client's needs.When I contacted Mr. Layton I was pleased he immediately returned my call. He reviewed the services he could provide. I found him to be articulate and knowledgeable.Most of our sessions had to be done digitally due to CO-VID 19. This was not a problem. Chris very quickly answered all emails and addressed any concerns right away.I found Chris very conscientious and very easy to work with. I highly recommend him.

I came to the Layton Law Firm upon the recommendation of a friend. I had been out of work for some time but had recently found my dream job. Well by that time, the financial stress was compounded. So I came to Chris somewhat ashamed. After assessing my situation he told me to look at this as a season; a time that would pass at some point.With my confidence restored, Chris and Jenny walked me through the process from start to finish. I had to do a lot of work to provide the necessary documentation in a timely fashion but then Chris and Jenny took over. They ushered me through court sessions, answered all my questions quickly, and advised me on the steps I needed to take beyond my filings.Today, I am happy to report that my financial recovery is on track. I have been able to make major purchases for justified needs and get my and my family's life back on track.Being honest, Chris and his team were a God-send. Without their help I would be financially crippled today. Without his advice and reassurance, I would be walking around in shame. Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 are just that..Chapters. They are not the entire book!

Chris Layton represented me in a slip and fall case. I was in so much pain I could not go to his office. He called reviewed everything over the phone and sent me the paperwork and we got started. Once I finished treating we spoke and planned to meet in person, I missed the appointment. Chris was patient and understanding. He was very responsive and answered EVERY question I had. When it seemed to be too much to explain in email he would call me. Once the demand letter was sent to the defendant Chris' office sent me a timeline to explain how the negotiation process would work. Everything flowed perfectly and then COVID19 hit. The defendants company was not in a position to negotiate any further. We decided to wait patiently. While we were waiting I would pose questions to Chris and he would respond within 24hr. We communicated in some form each month. In June I reached out to see how he and his family and co-workers were doing given the COVID19 situation. After that call Chris reached out the defendant even though I told him there was no rush. He called me back sent the release and on June 19th I picked up my check and met Chris for the 1st time in person. It was such a pleasure to finally meet the person who had helped me sight unseen. What I appreciated the most was not having to chase him down for answers or to ensure he was doing his part. He was on point and I can assure you that should I need an attorney for anything in the future Chris will be my first call, even if he has to refer me to someone who specializes in my area of need. I trust him just that much!

I can't recommend Chris Layton and his staff enough! I decided to do a little self lawyering around my debt and ended up in basically a mess. From my first call with Chris to my most recent conversation with Jenny, an amazingly informed and helpful paralegal in the office, I've never felt rushed and I'm constantly given options on how to proceed forward. I've had many questions as I've gone along and whether it's voicemail or email the response time from the office is incredibly prompt and thorough. Chris returned one of my calls on a Saturday and Jenny emailed me back on a question last week while on funeral leave!Did I mention that so far I haven't been charged a dime! I'm not a pro bono case, I simply haven't reached the point where court time has been necessary but I expect it will be. To that end however Chris was very upfront on his fees and even gave me options with that as well as historically based expectations/outcomes.The firm's professional, options based, communicative, and caring guidance has given me great relief knowing they are out in front of everything that can come up and there for me.Carl B.

After experiencing a very painful injury due to someone's negligence, I reached out to "major" law firms who professed they will be on your side and fight for your well being. Each turned me down because the case wasn't big enough( a money maker). Frustrated I left a message with the Layton Law Firm and received a call back from Attorney Chris Layton( not a receptionist). He was a thoroughly attentive listener and methodically and cogently guided me on what needed to be done for the benefit of me and my family. Yes the case could turn out to be a small one monetarily yet three times Attorney Layton ensured me he would guide me in the right direction when I settled with the insurance company. Since I have known Chris all his life, he has always strived to be the best in whatever he has accomplished.
